The Domaine de Pommayrac, in the Green Corbières, to 15 only km from the city of Carcassonne (site UNESCO), welcomes you in its lodgings, rooms, studios and its stopover gîte with large room and equipped kitchen for groups. For welcoming large families and groups, the combination of rooms and studios/gîtes with access to the large room is possible.
All rental periods* : overnight, week-ends, short stays and weeks.

You can also ride a horse or pony : our equestrian farm organizes activities for all ages and levels, “à la carte”, from pony rides to intensive outdoor horse riding courses or star treks (http://www.pommayrac.com/site-equestre/index.html).
The paths starting from the estate take you on foot, on horseback or mountain bike along vineyards and rolling meadows, or through the pine groves, with frequent openings onto very beautiful landscapes : the Corbières massif and the Pyrenees to the south, the Black Mountain to the north. Summer, swimming in the rivers near the estate is particularly pleasant !
At our Couiza nautical base, we offer the rental of canoes and kayaks for descents. “families” or more “fun and sporty” on the Aude river. Group outings led by a qualified instructor possible out of season.

And if you like visits, we are located close to the main tourist sites, historical and natural sites of Aude, Cathar country : the city of Carcassonne, Cathar castles, caves and chasms, tasting of renowned wines and local products, etc..

You would like to come with your horse ? He will be housed in the meadow, with grass or hay depending on the season, and a flaked supplement if you wish. The instructors will be able to advise you on your hiking routes.
