You will find Les Glycines in the small village of Mison-les-Armands in the Alpes de Haute Provence. It is a former hotel-café-restaurant built in 1870, recently renovated in guest rooms and cottages.

We have kept the original style and materials, as well as the gourmet recipes of the establishment.

South side of the house, a very nice terrace of 150 square meters under a wisteria roof overlooks a large garden, partially in the shade of chestnut and cherry trees.

In the garden you also find the swimming pool with its beach and deck chairs.. “Wisteria” is located in the countryside, a few hundred meters outside the village.

The climate is conducive to many leisure and outdoor activities.

We benefit from at least 300 days of sunshine per year! When leaving the house, a small path allows you to stroll through the Domenge woods, another gently sloping path leads you to the old village, from where you can admire a superb view of the pre-Alps and other peaks (west side) : the mountain of Today, de Chabre, from Ubac, that of the Pic de Saint-Cyr etc..

Leisure Around the “Glycines”” you will find hiking trails for all tastes, mountain bike trails, climbing sites (Orpierre, La Baume in Sisteron), horse riding trails.

You can join us for a morning jogging tour through the hills and on the Mison plateau: one of the best ways to wake up ! In summer you can swim in the refreshing water of the Gorges de la Méouge, or in the spring water of the Ribiers lake, Riou or Germanette.

Flying The region is well known throughout the world for its extraordinary gliding possibilities., hang gliding and paragliding and this, throughout the year! Due to high temperatures and good infrastructure, it is very pleasant to make flights in the region.

Many first flights are made here, you can land easily thanks to the wide valleys.

Culture, Villages, Cities For those who prefer to have their feet on the ground : Ten minutes away is Sisteron, with its Citadel built by Vauban, its markets on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, son festival “Nights of the Citadel” in summer.

Forty minutes away, you are in Digne-les-Bains, adopted city of Alexandra David-Néel and center of the Haute Provence Geological Nature Reserve.

In a few hours, passing through the Valensole plateau admiring the lavender, you arrive at the Gorges du Verdon and Lake Sainte-Croix.

In one hour by highway, you are in Aix-en-Provence for a cultural excursion.

Add half an hour and you can sip a pastis on a terrace in the Old Port in Marseille. And this is just a taste, but you can also go north side, towards the Alps and the Gapençais region , West side, towards Drôme Provençale, from Côtes du Rhône, from Mont Ventoux…
